This notice is for California residents and supplements our privacy policy. It describes the rights the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you, and how to use them.

This turns off the advertising cookies used for cross-context behavioural advertising. It takes effect immediately on this browser, and we do not ask you to sign in or give a reason.

Do we sell your personal information?
No. We do not sell personal information for money, and we have not done so.
We do use advertising cookies to measure our own campaigns. Under the CPRA that can count as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though no money changes hands. That is what the opt-out above turns off. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Your rights
- Know and access
- Ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
- Delete
- Ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions the statute allows — for example records we must keep to comply with the law.
- Correct
- Ask us to fix personal information about you that is inaccurate.
- Opt out of sale or sharing
- Tell us not to share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can do this in one click below, without creating an account or explaining why.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Where a business uses sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to deliver its service, you can tell it to stop. We only use account credentials to sign you in, which is a purpose the statute permits, so there is nothing here to limit — but the right is yours to exercise and we will answer if you do.
- Non-discrimination
- We will not deny you the service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
What we collect and why
In the last twelve months we collected the following categories. We collect them from you directly, from your use of the service, and from cookies and similar technologies.

We keep each category for as long as we need it to run the service, meet a legal obligation, or resolve a dispute, and no longer.
How to make a request
Email support@cookieinspector.com and tell us which right you want to use. To protect your data we will ask you to confirm control of the email address on the account before we act on a request to know, delete or correct. We do not need you to verify your identity to honour an opt-out.
An authorised agent may make a request for you if they give us written proof that you permitted it, and we may still contact you to confirm.
We answer within 45 days. If we need longer we will tell you why within that window and take no more than another 45 days.
