Auto-Renewal Policy
We keep paid subscriptions running until you tell us to stop. This page explains how renewals work, how charges happen, and what you can do if you want to cancel.
Subscriptions renew automatically
When you start a paid plan (monthly or yearly), we schedule the next charge right away. The subscription stays active and renews on the same cadence until you cancel. You only need to cancel once to stop future renewals; your access continues through the current billing period.
Renewal frequency
Pro and Agency subscriptions renew at the interval you picked during checkout. Monthly plans renew every month, yearly plans renew once a year, and we keep the same billing date so charges stay predictable. If you switch between monthly and yearly, the new cadence applies starting with the next renewal.
Payment method on file
Each renewal uses the payment method you already saved in Stripe. We do not ask you to re-enter your card before every renewal. If the charge cannot be processed, we will email you and the subscription stays active while you update the payment method.
Canceling your subscription
You can cancel any time before the next renewal date from the Account > Subscription section. Cancellation stops future charges but does not end your access mid-cycle; you keep the paid plan through the current billing period. Once the billing period ends, your plan will downgrade automatically according to your latest settings.
If you change your mind before the renewal, you can undo a scheduled cancellation from the same page. You can also reach us at support@cookieinspector.com and we can walk you through the steps.
When changes take effect
Changes to your price, plan, or billing frequency take effect at the end of your current billing period. If you upgrade mid-cycle, we also prorate the remainder of the period so you only pay for what you use.
Prices and taxes may change
We may adjust prices or taxes for any plan, but we will give you notice before the next renewal when that happens. Notice appears on this page, via in-app alerts, and by email so you can decide whether to keep your current plan.
